Hydraulics

My Ph. D. research project was in part funded by the AiF, which is the Arbeitsgemeinschaft industrieller Forschungsvereinigungen "Otto von Guericke" e.V. (AiF). Research projects funded by the AiF are accompanied by a panel consisting of members from the German engineering industry. AiF funded research typically requires that the research results have not only been proven theoretically, but have also successfully been applied to a real-world example, the so-termed "demonstrator". Thus, as part of my doctoral thesis, I have designed and built an electro-hydraulic servo axis testbed. Below are some photos of my testbed.
